Please Note: ElderTreks will not be printing and mailing a new catalogue for 2022/23. This catalogue will only exist online. We are planning to resume printing our catalogue for 2023/24.
2022/2023 Adventures
We are all looking forward to better times in the very near future, and for many, this includes travel. As much as there is greater optimism, we are still proceeding with 'cautious optimism' as more and more countries open up and remove restrictions. Sadly, the horrific invasion of Ukraine has left the world in shock! Our hearts go out to all Ukrainians!! Until further notice, ElderTreks will be suspending all travel to Russia.
We have been running trips again since Sept 2021 as conditions were improving for international travel. As of May 2nd, we are planning on operating the following 2022 trips listed below, provided there are no pandemic safety issues or government restrictions that would prohibit entry into our destination country(s):

At this time, we are hoping and planning to run ALL departures after Jan 1st, 2023. We anticipate the global situation will continue to improve and that any variants, political decisions or logistical issues will only be small hurdles that we will have to deal with!

ElderTreks is monitoring each destination closely and making decisions based on safety, common sense and cautious optimism. Governmental requirements (open/closed borders, quarantine, testing, curfews, lockdowns, what is open and what is closed, etc.) vary from country to country but are also part of our decision making. We only want to offer departures in which we feel confident that we can offer our travelers an unforgettable experience! We do not control governments, airlines, what is opened or closed or the desires and fears of our travelers but we would want to be honest and transparent regarding the viability and safety of each destination.. We all want to get back to living our lives, and for many, that includes travel. We cannot wait to get back to offering ALL of our destinations again but we only want to do this safely and responsibly!
