This one-of-a-kind expedition takes you to an Emperor Penguin rookery and a King Penguin rookery. This singular event will be enriched by special guests, Robert Bateman and Birgit Freybe Bateman. The Batemans have earned international reputations as artists and conservationists. They will share a lifetime of experience during two presentations that they will deliver during the voyage The expedition sails from Ushuaia, Argentina to the Weddell Sea, where you spend 3-days at an Emperor rookery. After 5-days exploring South Georgia, the icebreaker crosses the Southern Ocean to the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas).
